As a Community Benefits Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer center. Join our dynamic team and make a difference!

The Community Benefits Coordinator will assist Stakeholders and Community Benefits Manager with all area duties.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To support with the community benefits delivery to help build Sacyr UK’s reputation in and help improve staff engagement with the local community.
  • To build and maintain existing relationships with local stakeholders and community groups as required.
  • Support the Stakeholder and Community Benefits Manager, supply chain and site teams in delivering their employability and skills targets
  • Deliver STEM engagement and training in schools, community settings and on site.
  • Be able to deliver sessions from a partner produced prepared plan / brief.
  • Prepare content and session plans independently, but also collaborating with internal and external colleagues.
  • Support supply chain in delivering STEM by coordinating opportunities to the appropriate supplier, co producing materials and session plans.
  • Assist internal colleagues and supply chain in submitting STEM delivery evidence.
  • Lead on the coordination of delivering industry insight in GCSE construction across secondary schools in South Wales.
  • Be proactive in seeking out social value opportunities high impact community initiatives and match with the supply chain.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisation ability combined with good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Welsh speaker (desirable)
