Laboratory Supervisor

Pride Health is hiring for a Clinical Lab Supervisor (Core Lab) to support our client’s facility in Greensboro, NC. This is a 13-week contract opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team!

Job Summary:

The Clinical Lab Supervisor will oversee laboratory operations, supervise staff, and ensure proper handling and testing of specimens. The role involves managing lab procedures, conducting quality control, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise lab staff and daily operations, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Handle specimen processing, quality control, and management of automated instruments (Beckman, Cella Vision, Sysmex XM).
• Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) tests, urinalysis, and venipuncture.
• Manage hazardous materials, specimen storage, and proper labeling for disposal.
• Maintain compliance with transmission-based precautions, QA, and control standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: ASCP MLS certification required.
• Experience:
• Minimum 4 years of lab experience, including a supervisory role.
• Hospital clinical lab and management experience required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Skills: Experience with automated instruments and specimen handling.

Additional Information:

• Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
• Job Type: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (Monday - Thursday, 9 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Pay Range: $60 -$63/hour
