Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Travel Telemetry Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor, interpret, and document ECG rhythms for all telemetry patients, ensuring accurate reporting and immediate communication of significant changes to the appropriate clinical personnel.
  • Identify and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias by notifying the RN and following hospital protocols to ensure prompt intervention.
  • Maintain detailed and organized EKG records, including rhythm strips, patient status updates, and reasons for temporary or permanent removal from telemetry, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
  • Ensure the central telemetry monitor is continuously attended, with all patient connections and alarms properly set and functioning according to department protocols.
  • Troubleshoot telemetry equipment issues, manage supply inventories, and coordinate repairs with biomedical teams to ensure all equipment is functional and available for patient care.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, assist in training new telemetry technicians, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (AHA) required
  • EKG, Clerical duties, and telemetry experience


Additional Information:

  • Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado *Only accept Traveler*
  • Job Type: Contract – 13 weeks – possibility of extension
  • Schedule: 5x8 hours – Morning shift
  • Pay Range: $ 1,296.00 to 1,368.00 weekly


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
