Radiation Therapist

Pride Health is hiring Travel/Local Radiation Therapist to support our client's hospital facility in Washington, DC. This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.

Shift Time: Day 10 (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Location: Washington, DC

Blended Pay Range: $62 - $75/hour

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.

Summary:

• Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and under the general supervision of the Manager and Lead Therapist.
• Operates all Radiation Oncology related equipment, i.e. CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and various computer equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Registration with the ARRT
• AA or BS from radiation therapy program
• BLS or CPR
