Radiologic Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a 13-weeks contract role, with possible extension – Open to travel and local.

Summary:

Under general supervision of a Chief and Senior Technologist, operates standard, portable, and specialized X-Ray equipment to perform radiographic exams used for diagnosis and treatment. Provides appropriate patient care, obtain images using digital radiography (DR) imaging technology.

Duties:

• Registered Radiology Tech will perform diagnostic procedures in the areas of ED, OR, Fluoro, Ortho clinic. Will provide services to outpatients and inpatients.

• Operates portable X-ray equipment and uses special equipment such as tomography.

• Interacts with physicians, co-workers, customers, and families in professional manner.

• Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.

• Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

• The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.

• The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.

Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. - Required

• Active Maryland License; ARRT certified

• BLS(AHA) certification. Required.

• 2 years of experience

Shift Time: 2 options available

• 7pm - 730am alternating Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

• 7pm - 730am Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Location: Baltimore, MD

Floating Requirements:

Weekly Gross: $2,336.04 weekly
