CT Technologist

Pride Health is hiring CT Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Milford, Delaware. This is a permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare procedure rooms and patients for various studies, ensuring all necessary equipment is sanitized according to established cleaning protocols after each use. Dispose of and replace dirty linens between patients and monitor patient flow to maintain efficient daily operations.
• Educate patients about their scheduled procedures, addressing any questions or concerns. Collect patient history, verify written consent, and ensure appropriate ICD-9/10 codes are documented. Complete patient safety screening and consent forms to confirm all precautions are met before proceeding.
• Perform diagnostic procedures following established protocols, adjusting equipment and patient positioning based on age and physical abilities. Continuously monitor patients during procedures and immediately notify the radiologist of any adverse reactions or issues. Assist radiologists as needed while minimizing patient discomfort.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating all general diagnostic imaging equipment for CT procedures. Review images or films before releasing the patient, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain imaging quality assurance (QA) rates, with monthly errors kept below 2%.
• Maintain responsibility for specific elements of the quality assurance (QA) program as directed by equipment vendors. Stay proficient with HIS, RIS, PHS, and PACS systems, ensuring all exams are properly charged and accurately reported with an error rate below 2%

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree Radiologic Technology
• Basic Life Support certification
• Delaware RRT Certification
• ARRT Registered Technologist
• Over 1 year of experience

• Location: Milford, Delaware
• Job Type: Permanent
• Schedule: 5x8 hours – available 1st and 2nd shifts
• Pay Range: $ 55.00 to 90.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
