Registered Respiratory Therapist

Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “Registered Respiratory Therapist” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Columbus, Ohio. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 36 hrs/week

Shift: 3x12 Nights (12 hrs

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Pay Range: $1900-$2020 Weekly DOE

Overview:

We are looking to hire a licensed respiratory therapist to add to our ever-expanding staff of competent healthcare professionals. Duties will include setting up and operating devices such as therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators, providing emergency care, such as external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, or assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and maintaining charts that contain patient identification and therapy information.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients with respiratory issues and perform diagnostic tests.

Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and manage ventilators.

Provide emergency respiratory care, including CPR and airway management.

Educate patients on using respiratory devices and managing conditions.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust care plans.

Monitor patient progress and document treatments.

Ensure proper infection control and equipment maintenance.

Support pulmonary rehabilitation for improved lung function.

Qualifications:

Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from

Columbus, OH.

Must have OHIO LICENSE (Respiratory Care NBRC-RRT)

Must have at least 1 years of experience in acute care settings Must have strong critical care and large hospital experience.

Must hold BLS, ACLS certification
