Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Waco, TX. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.

Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.

Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

6 months of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Location: Waco, TX

Job Type: 3-month contract

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p CST

Pay Range: $16 - $18/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
