Certified Surgical Technologist

Pride Health is hiring a Surgical Tech to support our client’s medical facility in Madison, WI. This is a 13-week assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room before surgery, promotes the safety of the patient during surgery, aids the surgeon during surgery, cares for the patient during surgery, and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery. The Surgical Technologist functions to promote the safety of the patient as a member of the surgical team. The incumbent possesses the knowledge and skills required to assist effectively caring for patients of all age groups (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).

Required:

Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required (looking for strong cardiac, thoracic and transplant experience - including heart and lung). Ortho trauma, Eye, ENT, Neuro experience is helpful.

Qualifications:

BLS – must be certified through the American Heart Association only.

Completed a surgical technologist program or two years’ experience in a Surgical Technologist role.

Job Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shifts: 12hr (day/evening), Weekend Rotational

Weekly Gross Range: $2100- $2300
