Medical Laboratory Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist I to support our client’s medical facility in Sapulpa, OK. This is a great Contract opportunity for candidates looking to work with a top-tier healthcare organization and potentially secure a permanent position.

Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist II

Location: Sapulpa, OK

Schedule:

• Sunday - Tuesday: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM
• Wednesday: 6:45 PM - 12:45 AM

Contract Type: 6-month Contract (with potential for extension)

Pay Range: $27 - $37 per hour (based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials)

Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Assist with processing specimens as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4-year BS or MLT
• ASCP or AMT certification is required
• Blood Bank experience is required
• Familiarity with the following instrumentation and systems is preferred:
• LIS: Cerner Millennium (hard requirement)
• Chemistry: Abbott 4100, Alinity
• Hematology: Sysmex XN
• Coagulation: Stago Evaluation, Stago Compact
• Urinalysis: Siemens Novus, Clintek Advantus
• Blood Bank: Griffols Efflexis

Vaccine Requirements:

• Flu vaccine
• Other vaccinations: Hepatitis B, TB, MMR, T-DAP, Varicella, COVID-19
