Job DetailsAssessment skills: Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately.Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive, and accurate.Demonstrates competent clinical skills and provides appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit.Maintains complete and accurate documentation of the nursing process and patient's progress.Demonstrates professional practice responsibility and knowledge of policies and procedures.Consistently responds professionally and courteously to promote a patient-centered environment.Follows National Patient Safety Goals, including the use of safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.Individualizes patient care according to procedure and type of anesthesia across the continuum of care.Contributes by prioritizing care based on patient needs and changes in condition.Assesses patient's understanding of surgical procedures and actively includes them in teaching.
