Senior Project Manager - HVDC Offshore Platform - Germany/Netherlands - Offshore HVDC Grid Access

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Project Manager Offshore HVDC Substation Platform with responsible for full EPC project delivery of the offshore platform. The job can be based in Berlin or in the Netherlands.

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of a major offshore EPC project in Germany and the Netherlands, managing a key work package over €1B
• Oversee scope variations from identification to implementation, providing feedback to tender teams.
• Achieve EHS, on-time delivery, and financial targets (sales, margin, billing, cash).
• Lead project reviews, focusing on risk mitigation.
• Guide a cross-functional team across engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and contracts.
• Implement the project execution strategy to meet performance goals.
• Manage relationships with customers, the yard, and consortium partners.
• Secure and organize necessary project resources.
• Track KPIs and ensure financial, time, quality, and safety goals are met.
• Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan and EHS procedures.
• Direct claim strategies and actions.
• Continuously update the Risk Management Plan, acting on key risks and opportunities.
• Develop and manage the Master Time Schedule to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain financial oversight with regular reporting and KPI tracking.
• Ensure smooth integration of technical, manufacturing, supply, and construction activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large, complex offshore structural engineering projects (over €100M).
• Offshore project experience.
• Experience in project execution within yards and offshore environments.
• Expertise in contract and claim management for large projects.
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
