SAP FICO Competency Lead

Role : SAP FICO Competency Lead IT Services Company( Indian MNC) Location : Ahmedabad (WFO) Exp : 8- 12 Yrs Employment Type : Full-time CTC : Exp into 2.5 Notice Period : Immediately/30 Days. Preferred Qualifications : - SAP certification in S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud is a strong advantage. - Experience in developing SAP bolt-ons or working with third-party add-ons that extend SAP functionality. - SAP FI and/or CO certification. - Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Key Responsibilities : - Competency Leadership : Lead the development of the FICO competency within the organization by building a strong, capable team. Recruit, mentor, and guide the team to ensure expertise in both FI and CO modules. - Financial Management Expertise : Maintain a strong understanding of SAP best practices in financial processes, ensuring that solutions align with industry standards. Provide insights on SAP best practices for both public and private cloud environments. - Cloud Knowledge : Possess in-depth knowledge of standard SAP best practice solutions, whether deployed in public or private cloud environments. Ensure that our solutions leverage the best capabilities offered in SAP S/4HANA Cloud or on-premise versions. - Integration Mastery : Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with the bolt-on solution and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PS, SD). Align solutions with industry-specific requirements in the infrastructure sector. - Project Delivery : Oversee and guide the implementation of SAP FICO in infrastructure companies, ensuring successful go-lives. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor solutions for optimal performance. - Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement best practices in financial management, reporting, and project accounting. Skills & Experience : - SAP Expertise : Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO modules, preferably in infrastructure-focused projects. Experience in designing and implementing custom solutions is a strong plus. - Cross-Module Integration : Deep understanding of FICO integration points with other SAP modules like MM, PS, SD, and PP. Ability to identify and resolve cross-functional issues. - Best Practices Mastery : Strong knowledge of SAP best practices in financial processes, with a deep understanding of standard offerings in SAP S/4HANA public cloud and private cloud solutions. - Industry Experience : Experience working in or consulting for infrastructure industries (e.g., construction, utilities, energy) with a focus on project-based financial processes. - Project Management : Proven experience in leading SAP FICO projects through all phases-blueprinting, design, implementation, testing, and support. - Leadership Skills : Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring SAP teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing. - Problem Solver : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions. - Communication : Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
