Job Title: Project Manager (New build housing) - Permanent
Location: Wrexham
Contract Length: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Rate
Experience Required: New Build Social Housing
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of a high-profile New Build Social Housing Development in Wrexham. The role will be permanent with a healthy orderbook of work going forward, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of construction of project.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in new build social housing, as you will be responsible for managing day to day operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day to day construction activities, ensuring the project stays on track with timelines and quality standards.
* Lead the building and installation of new build social housing, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
* Manage subcontractors, site staff, and resources to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and maintain high standards of site safety during operations.
* Report regularly to the contracts manager on progress, risks, and any issues arising.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager on similar large-scale housing projects.
* Expertise in new build social housing schemes.
* Experience working in Conjuntion with housing associations.
* Ability to lead and manage a team effectively during day to day operations.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* CSCS card (black/gold), SMSTS, and First Aid certifications required.
