Senior Performance Test Engineer - JMeter

Position Mode : Contract Experience Required : 6-8 Years Joining Location : Ahmedabad (Preferred) or Any Apexon location (Bangalore, Hyderabad, , ) Mode of Interview : 2-3 rounds (Virtual/In-person) Notice Period : Immediate Only Job Description : Responsibilities : - Performance Test Planning : Design and implement performance test plans for targeted API endpoints. - Tool Utilization : Select and utilize performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) to simulate real-world usage scenarios. - Execution & Analysis : Execute performance and load tests, analyzing results to identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues. - Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams to diagnose performance problems and recommend optimization solutions. - Framework Development : Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and automation scripts. - Monitoring : Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential performance issues. - Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest performance testing trends and methodologies. - Documentation : Document performance test findings and recommendations clearly. Qualifications : - Experience : Minimum 6 years as a Performance Engineer or in a related role. - Testing Expertise : Proven experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing performance and load tests. - Tool Proficiency : Strong understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Scripting Skills : Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for test automation. - Analytical Ability : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Team Player : Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team. - Communication Skills : Strong communication and written documentation skills.
