About the job : About the Company : EndureAir Systems was founded in 2018 by alumni of IIT Kanpur. At EndureAir, we aspire to provide world class aerial robotic solutions i.e, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) aka drones to align with Indian Armed forces for providing customized combat and operational drone solutions. Currently, we are the collaborative partners for developmental projects with many civil and defence agencies and are the beneficiaries under the Ministry of Civil Aviation's PLI Scheme for Drone and drone components. The ongoing development for enhancing the capabilities with 20-50Kg payload delivery and surveillance capability to perform multiple long-duration stealth operations is under progress. EndureAir products offer the industry's best combination of features capable of carrying heavy payloads with high endurance. Designing drones that can have better performance is only possible with complete understanding of all its subsystems, right from the aerodynamic design to the communication devices. To address these multiple requirements, EndureAir has designed various customizable drones which are tested in extreme weather and terrain conditions ranging from high altitudes, mountainous regions and plains which can be used in conventional as well as CI/CT ops scenarios in jungles and BUA. Our products cover a wide range of applications with large-scale manufacturing capabilities for Surveillance, Crowd Monitoring, ISR Applications, Logistics, Search & Rescue, Change Detection and Payload drops. A rich range of products can be chosen for high endurance of 3 hrs and payload up to 5 kgs. VIBHRAM - Vibhram G is a high endurance multirole gasoline powered rotary wing hybrid Unmanned Aerial Vehicle used for long duration operations, long endurance surveillance and photogrammetry. ALAKH - Alakh is a nano unmanned aerial vehicle that is typically less than 250 grams in weight and are designed for various applications, including surveillance, ISR missions and CI/CT operations. SABAL - Sabal is a logistic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs) that can lift up to 50 kg of payload. The UAV is equipped with a fully functional and robust Autopilot system that grants its operator the freedom to perform their tasks in fully or semi-autonomous modes. Patents, Clientele & Awards : EndureAir holds a total of 8 patents in drone technology in both hardware and software. Over the past decade, the team has built a very influential network with government organizations like HAL, DRDO, ADA and many other defence agencies. One of the main advantages of EndureAir over its competitors is that the team has very strong institutional support for research and development purposes from highly experienced IIT Kanpur faculty. Our company leads the forefront in the drone Title : Sr.System Engineer Department : Hardware & System Engineering Key Responsibilities : - Define and maintain comprehensive technical requirements for smart and connected features, including Connectivity, UI/UX, Smart Features, Powertrain, Battery, Charging, and Smart Peripherals. - Design scalable systems across multiple UAV variants and product requirements. - Define and own hardware-software interface specifications, state flows, and state transitions for various product platforms. - Align requirements across multiple stakeholders to ensure cohesive system functionality. - Perform impact analysis of ongoing software changes and assess their effects on the overall system. - Drive DFMEA for current and new features. - Collaborate with the testing team to develop robust verification and validation plans. - Investigate and root-cause failures encountered during development, testing, and production. - Document findings and ensure lessons learned are applied in future development. - Engage with external vendors to ensure all technical requirements are met. - Work closely with hardware system engineers to define the E/E (Electrical/Electronic) architecture for next-generation platforms. - Ensure compliance with both regulatory and non-regulatory standards related to software and hardware developments. Requirements : - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering - 5-7 years of experience in System Engineering - Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to approach issues with a cross-functional perspective. - A systems mindset with a deep understanding of both software and hardware design. - Experience with Drone / UAV architecture. - Proven experience in end-to-end development of UI/UX etc. - Proficiency in system engineering tools. - Working knowledge of RF networks and associated protocols. - Hands-on experience with scripting languages (SQL, Python, Bash) and debugging tools. - Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). - Expertise in embedded systems development is preferred. - Compensation and Benefits : We offer a highly competitive salary package, tailored to match your skills and experience.
