Job Description
I have been retained by a dynamic and fast-growing Mining business based in central London, to recruit a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant.
In this newly created role; the Senior Financial Accountant will have a broad remit - working closely with the Head of Financial Reporting to prepare the consolidated financial statements and ensure robust compliance across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and analyse key financial data from regional teams to contribute to the consolidations for the Group
* Prepare consolidated financial statements in a timely and accurate manner; ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
* Implementation and management of financial reporting templates for reports on a quarterly and annual basis
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial reporting processes
* Support statutory audit process
* Ensure SOX compliance
* Participate in multiple ad-hoc projects on a regular basis
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
* Strong technical skillset
* Experience or an interest in Mining / Resources / similar industry
* Drive and ambition!
Package:
* £70-80,000 (DOE)
* Min. 10% bonus
