SAP ABAP Consultant

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days work-from-home), you will play a critical role in S/4HANA implementation projects, leveraging your expertise in ABAP development and core SAP : - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, test, and implement complex ABAP programs and objects for S/4HANA systems. - Possess strong expertise in at least 3 out of the following ABAP development areas : 1. Workflow (W) 2. Reports (R) 3. Interfaces (I) 4. Conversions (C) 5. Enhancements (E) 6. Forms (F) - Integrate SAP systems with external applications using BAPI/ALE or other relevant interfaces (experience with PI/PO a plus). - Manage and guide 1-2 junior team members, providing mentorship and facilitating their deployment on projects. - Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Document technical specifications and ABAP code effectively. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in S/4HANA and ABAP development. Required Technical Skills : - 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in S/4HANA implementation projects. - Strong understanding of ABAP programming language (objects, classes, data types, etc.) - Experience with one or more core SAP functionalities (e., BTP, MDG) is a plus. - Familiarity with SAP development tools and methodologies (ABAP Workbench, Solution Manager, etc.) - Experience with unit testing frameworks (e., ABAP Unit) is a plus.
