The Company: This UK based organisation has a 50 year heritage in the joint reconstruction and orthopaedics world. They manufacture a range of quality orthopaedic implants used in hip, knee and shoulder surgery and they maintain a close knit, professional and supportive culture.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced theatre or medical device sales person wanting to join a close knit and autonomous sales team and drive their business opportunity forward in North London.

The Role: The successful Business Development Manager will manage some existing relationships across the Northern Home Counties but ideally look to map out and forge sales relationships with fledgling accounts in this area.

• Someone with a proven track record of sales within theatres or orthopaedics would be ideal for this job and could really make their mark on the area.
• The company is looking for someone who will learn fast, be credible with their surgical customers, covering cases as well as looking for new opportunities to win contracted business.
• Someone who can establish commercial relationships within NHS and private hospitals and effectively communicate with Surgeons, ODPs, Theatre Managers, Consultants, Nurses and Procurement.
• Full, structured company and product training will be provided over the first year and career development and earning potential is attractive, as is the positive company culture.

The Successful Candidate for BDM Orthopaedics:

• You have proven track record of 2 yrs or more in surgical field sales
• You live and work in the North London or northern home counties area
• You ideally work or have worked in theatre sales or orthopaedics before
• You have a full UK driving license
• You have a strong flair for new business and have evidence of winning NHS customers

The Package:

· £40-65,000 base salary depending on experience

· OTE £20,000

· Company car or allowance of £600 per month
