Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Operations Manager

Location: Uxbridge, West London

Contract Details: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (based on experience)

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading cinema exhibition services company in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, is seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to join their team. With a strong focus on operational excellence, they provide comprehensive solutions in projection equipment, audio systems, central systems, cinema outfitting, content management, 3D projection systems & glasses, digital signage, screens, and seating.

Oversee and optimise the operational aspects of the engineering department
Manage engineering workflow, scheduling, and proportioning of work to engineers
Coordinate pre-planned servicing on cinemas
Manage engineers and ensure appropriate staffing levels
Handle emergency repair requests and manage client expectations
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic goals
Analyse current operational processes and identify areas for improvement
Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams
Implement quality control measures to ensure excellence
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with engineering projects and operations
Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage the engineering operations budget
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and professional developmentEssential:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Proven experience in engineering operations or a related managerial role
Strong understanding of operational processes, project management, and quality assurance
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term and long-term goals
Familiarity with industry best practises and emerging trends in engineering operationsDesirable:
