Sales Development Representative

Position Overview:

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by generating leads, managing outreach, and setting up qualified meetings for our Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels in outbound communication through cold calls, emails, and other methods of outreach. You will also have the opportunity to attend company training overseas and represent the company at industry trade shows, particularly in the UK. This role can be based in Reading or Guildford.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation

• Conduct research to identify potential prospects and gather key information for outreach.
• Initiate cold calls and emails to engage prospects and generate leads.
• Maintain a detailed and accurate CRM record of outreach efforts, lead qualification, and follow-up activities.

Appointment Setting

• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate meetings between qualified leads and the Sales Manager.
• Ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads to the sales team for further engagement.

Reporting & Metrics

• Track and report weekly progress on lead generation, outreach, and appointment setting.
• Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs related to outbound outreach, lead qualification, and meetings set.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in an outbound sales, SDR, or related role, with a strong emphasis on cold calling and email outreach.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up activities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with lead generation tools.
• Willingness to travel internationally for internal training and trade shows.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the sales team.
