IT Vendor Management Lead

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a IT Vendor Management Lead for a 6 month contract based in London. (Hybrid Working)

Key responsibilities

This role will focus on renegotiating a number of existing contracts mainly for IT vendors.

• Responsibilities: Lead the renegotiation of existing contracts with IT service providers to optimise terms, conditions, and pricing in alignment with organisational objectives.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with IT service providers, ensuring effective communication, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Cost Optimisation: Identify cost-saving opportunities through contract renegotiation, benchmarking, and market analysis, while maintaining service quality and compliance standards.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, legal, finance, and business units, to understand requirements, align strategies, and achieve consensus on contract terms.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement
• Ideally including experience of Procurement working in Financial Services industry
• Strong contract knowledge, especially in understanding risk and regulatory content that is necessary in vendor contracts in Financial Services industry
• Strong negotiation skills especially in 'single supplier' negotiations
