Part-Time Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) - Coulsdon & Crawley Schools
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting.
Strong collaboration skills to work alongside SALT assistants, teaching staff, and other professionals.
Ability to deliver staff training and guidance on communication strategies.Location: Coulsdon & Crawley (1 day per week at each school)
Contract: Part-time, Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Hours: 2 days per week
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
NonStop are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) looking for a part-time opportunity to make a real difference. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified SALT to lead and manage the speech and language strategy at our schools in Coulsdon and Crawley.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage SALT strategy: Oversee and implement speech and language therapy for a small group of pupils with low to medium needs.
Work with pupils: Provide direct SALT support to pupils requiring qualified input.
Support classroom strategies: Direct and supervise SALT assistants and teaching assistants (TAs) to implement effective communication strategies within the classroom.
Staff training: Lead and manage training for school staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet the speech, language, and communication needs of the pupils.Benefits:
