Project Manager - Jira/Confluence

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of IT Service Management (ITSM) projects. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities to ensure they meet project objectives, timelines, and budgets. Your expertise in ITSM and Atlassian tools will be instrumental in delivering efficient and effective solutions. Responsibilities : Project Planning : - Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Identify project dependencies and risks. - Create detailed project documentation, such as Gantt charts and project status reports. Project Execution : - Manage project resources, including team members, contractors, and vendors. - Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or deviations from the project plan. - Facilitate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders. ITSM Expertise : - Deep understanding of ITSM best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT). - Experience in implementing and managing ITSM solutions. - Ability to align ITSM processes with business objectives. Atlassian Tools : - Proficiency in Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. - Configure and customize Atlassian tools to support ITSM processes. - Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards, and reports. Stakeholder Management : - Build and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including executive sponsors, business users, and technical teams. - Effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders. Risk Management : - Identify and assess project risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Qualifications : - Over all 10yrs, Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager. - Strong understanding of ITSM concepts and best practices. - Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
