Our client is a £500m turnover business with offices across the UK. We are looking for a Carbon & Net Zero Manager to ensure the organisation meets its commitments to Net Zero projects for its clients along with its own strategic Decarbonisation and Net Zero commitments. You will join a company powered by some of the best construction professionals in the industry, this is a knockout opportunity not to be missed.
Carbon & Net Zero Manager Roles & Responsibilities :
Ensuring reporting of energy performance in line with governance, legislative requirements, and commitments.
Providing energy and carbon data in line with corporate reporting requirements, including calculation and reporting of Scope 1,2 & 3 carbon emissions.
Working closely with Procurement team to advise on new opportunities to decarbonise within our supply chain, ensuring these requirements and targets are clearly referenced in contract documents.
Developing and implementing Decarbonisation/Net Zero strategy and routemaps towards the delivery of the sustainability strategy. Ensuring milestones and objectives are achieved and reporting on progress to senior key stakeholders.
Carbon & Net Zero Manager expérience required :
A degree (or equivalent) in Environment & Sustainability related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
Member of relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA)
Experience with Life Cycle Analysis Software and producing WLCA Stage 4 and Stage 6 Reports (Preferably One Click LCA)
Ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets
