**Roles: 1 x Lead Full Stack Developer / 1 x Full Stack Developer**

Hybrid (Predominantly WFH, with travel to London required one day per week)

**Contract:**

6 Months (with potential to extend)

**Rate:**

Lead Dev - Up to £500/day (based on experience). Dev Up to £400/ day.

**The Role:**

We are looking for Full Stack Developers at two levelsLead Full Stack Developer and Full Stack Developerto join our team on a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. Both roles involve the design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions, with a focus on front-end user interfaces and back-end API services.

The Lead Full Stack Developer will take on additional responsibilities for guiding, reviewing code, and setting the technical direction of the project. Both roles require expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.

Applicants must be prepared to undertake a short technical assessment before the interview.

**Key Responsibilities (For Both Roles):**

- Full Stack Development:

Design, develop, and maintain front-end UIs and back-end APIs, ensuring scalability and performance. Utilize JavaScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) to build dynamic, responsive applications.

- Collaboration & Agile Development:

Work within an Agile framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams including project managers, business analysts, and QA testers. Participate in sprints, provide feedback, and ensure deliverables meet both technical and business requirements.

- Testing & Debugging:

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability. Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain application performance and resolve technical challenges.

**Additional Responsibilities for Lead Full Stack Developer:**

- Leadership & Oversight:

Lead, providing technical guidance and mentoring to other team members. Review code, set best practices, and ensure high standards in development, security, and performance. Work closely with stakeholders to define technical architecture and align project goals with business needs.

- Continuous Improvement:

Drive technical innovation and process improvements, optimizing the development workflow and enhancing code efficiency.

**Key Requirements (For Both Roles):**

- Experience:

Full Stack Developer: Minimum of 3 years experience in full-stack development.

Lead Full Stack Developer: Minimum of 5 years experience in full-stack development, with proven experience in leading teams or projects.

Strong experience working with Node.js, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Technical Skills:

Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks.

Strong back-end development skills, including experience with Node.js, databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL), and building scalable APIs.

Experience with Azure, AWS and version control systems like Git and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Additional Attributes:

Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
