This role offers a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential settings. A strong background in sales or experience as a sales technician is crucial for success in this role, as it involves direct customer interaction and upselling services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ 2+ years experience of residential wireman in Colorado Springs
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Must hold a valid Colorado Residential Wireman License
+ Customer Service oriented
+ Sales experience or experience as a sales technician is required
+ Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs. without additional manpower.
+ Physically capable of mounting equipment and working in various weather conditions.
+ Ability to identify colors and knowledge of electrical color codes
JOB DUTIES
+ Accurately and efficiently identify and diagnose electrical issues.
+ Provide excellent customer service and ensure homeowner satisfaction.
+ Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or upgrades to customers, effectively explaining the benefits to drive sales.
+ Read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems following the standards of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
+ Perform electrical safety inspections.
+ Maintain detailed records of work performed.
Compensation: $30.00 - $37.50 per hour
