Class 1 Driver Afternoon

Talstaff Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of well established client based in Thorne. Regular ongoing work.

HGV / Class 1 / C+E Drivers urgently required for ongoing work for our client based Thorne. Flexible Days shifts available Mon - Fri.

You will be required to:

• Make on time deliveries to various nationwide locations, store, depots and RDC's.
• Monday - Friday PM shifts.
• PM 14:00 - 17:00 starts
• Trunking work and Store Deliveries
• Curtain siders and palletised stock, limited use of box trailers & tail lifts
• Have knowledge of driver hours/regulations.
• Hold a valid C+E UK driving licence.
• Hold a valid UK DCPC and valid UK digicard.
• Work in a professional manner.
• Be prepared to undertake site inductions and training.
• Have excellent geographical knowledge.
• Be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays.

In return:

• PM £19.26ph Monday - Friday (Including holiday)
• £20.89ph Saturday (Including holiday pay)
• £25.04ph for Sundays & Bank Holidays (Including holiday pay)
• Weekly pay.
• Full uniform provided after qualifying period.
• Regular ongoing work.

You must have held a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence for over 6months, have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes.
