Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in designing and architecting solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, and automation tools. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, secure, and efficient architectures, collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions on AWS that align with business requirements.
• Lead the development and deployment of containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Implement microservices architecture using Spring Boot, ensuring efficient and modular development.
• Set up and manage service mesh solutions using Istio for secure and reliable microservices communication.
• Utilize Terraform to define and provision infrastructure-as-code, ensuring scalability and flexibility in cloud environments.
• Integrate messaging and data streaming using Kafka for real-time event processing and communication between services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD to automate and streamline the development and deployment process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Java-based solutions and ensure best practices in development and deployment.
• Manage build and dependency management using Maven, ensuring consistent and reliable software builds.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience with AWS architecture, services, and best practices.
• Proficiency in container technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Istio for service mesh management and microservices communication.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) automation.
• Proficiency in Java development, especially using Spring Boot for microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and automation.
• Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications and deployments.
• Knowledge of Argo CD for continuous deployment and Kubernetes-native automation.
• Proficiency in Maven for build automation and dependency management.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• AWS Cloud Architecture: Proven experience architecting solutions in AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Kubernetes & Docker: Deep understanding of Kubernetes for managing containerized applications and Dockerfor containerization.
• Istio: Expertise in Istio for microservices management, including service mesh configurations and security policies.
• Argo CD: Hands-on experience with Argo CD for managing Kubernetes deployments and automating continuous delivery.
• Terraform: Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.
• Microservices: Development experience using Java, Spring, Spring Boot for designing and implementing microservices.
• Kafka: Working knowledge of Kafka for distributed streaming and message-driven applications.
• CI/CD: Proficiency with GitLab, Helm, Maven, and Argo CD for continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Banking and Financial Services: Previous experience working within the Banking or Financial Services sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
