Service Engineer
Mechanical Maintenance - Mobile Role - UK Coverage
Heavy Engineering Industry
Contract (ongoing) - Up to £50K Basic Per Annum
Excellent mileage and overnight allowances
Must be local to Bradford / BD9 / West Yorkshire
My client is an established engineering company, with a regional office in West Yorkshire. Due to expansions and extra workload they are looking for an experienced Service and Maintenance Engineer to join their team, working across the UK.
THE ROLE OF Mobile Maintenance Engineer
Going to sites to perform preventative maintenance on large CNC machinery across the UK, following up with systems testing post-maintenance
Respond to breakdowns, carry out fault diagnosis and carry out repairs
Provide technical support where required to help our customers
Work closely with the customer and site personnel to build relationship and maintain good communication
Assist other team members as required supporting where needed in their maintenance and repair tasks (e.g. on-site repair/servicing/maintenance)
Ensuring all paperwork is completed and accurate
THE RIGHT CNC Maintenance Engineer
Qualified to a suitable level through an apprenticeship or other education
Maintenance Engineer, Field Engineer, Service Technician or Service Engineer with heavy engineering industry experience
Experience of working with computer-controlled large machinery (CNC) preferred
Be able to demonstrate experience in identifying mechanical faults and carrying out repairs
Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Computer Controlled machine operations
Strong interpersonal skills being able to work effectively as part of a team as well as dealing with client stakeholders creating and building strong relationships
Experience troubleshooting PLC and NC control is desirable (Siemens)
