Electrical Designer

Your position I am currently recruiting an Electrical Designer for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the transportation field located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Permanent position 40 hours per week Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your main missions will include : - Set up a system to ensure the quality of electrical designs. - Establish design approaches for new projects - Manage product development, from initial idea to prototype testing. - Provide technical support to production and assembly teams. - Contribute to product evaluations, system testing and trials. - Participate in technical writing - Provide technical assistance to after-sales service. Your profile -Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical manufacturing -DEP, DEC or BAC in Electrical Engineering or relevant equivalent -Bilingual French - English, an asset -Knowledge of electrical design and embedded systems development -Electrical knowledge and experience in the transportation field -Knowledge of SolidEdge Electrical design software, or equivalent -Knowledge of SAE, CMVSS or FMVSS standards, MRP software, Office suite. 70k - 90k depending on experience and profile - insurance and RRSPs
