R&D Project Leader

Your function I am currently recruiting an R&D Project Manager for one of my clients, an agri-food company located in Longueuil. Permanent position 40h/week - face-to-face Reporting to the VP R&D, you will be in charge of the following tasks: - Manage research and development projects for new products, improvements to existing products and processes, while meeting cost objectives. - Develop new product formulations in line with strategies. - Ensure the viability of specs according to customer needs, profitability and deadline management. - Carry out laboratory and production trials, and solve problems. - Qualify and validate external stakeholders (suppliers, research center) for ingredients and concepts - Analyze results and draft associated reports - Supervise internal evaluation activities - Ensure product launches in line with specifications and production targets Your professional skills - Priority management and rigor - Leadership and innovative spirit - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills We're looking for a proactive, self-starter who likes a job well done. Your profile -Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role -Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or other relevant field -Bilingual French - English Experience in product development in the agri-food sector -Experience in project management -Knowledge of CFIA processes, ingredients, legislation and standards -Knowledge of grant programs and research tax credits -Experience in project management -Proficiency in Office suite - Salary: $80k - $100k depending on experience - 40h/week position.
