Data Analyst - Business Intelligence

Job Description : We are looking for a skilled and data-driven Data Analyst to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in data analytics, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting to support business decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand data requirements and provide meaningful insights for process improvements and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities : - Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that support business objectives. - Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. - Interpret complex data sets and translate them into simple, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. - Conduct data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling to support business forecasting. - Automate reporting and data processing tasks to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. - Identify opportunities to optimize processes and develop strategies for leveraging data for business growth. - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis and reporting. - Present findings to leadership in clear, concise reports and presentations. Skills & Qualifications : - Proven experience of 4 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role. - Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases and working with large data sets. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis (including pivot tables, charts, and formulas). - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. - Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus. - Solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. - Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience working in industries such as e-commerce, finance, or technology is preferred. Nice to Have : - Knowledge of machine learning models and AI techniques. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. - Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations.
