Responsibilities : 1 Design, construct, and maintain scalable data management systems on Azure Cloud. 2 Develop and optimize data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics. 3 Ensure that systems meet business requirements and industry best practices. 4 Integrate new Azure-based technologies and software engineering tools into existing data structures. 5 Develop processes for data mining, modeling, and production with Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, etc. 6 Build and maintain custom software components and analytics applications on Azure. 7 Leverage a variety of languages and tools to combine data systems, especially Python, SQL, and Azure Functions. 8 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, modelers, and engineers to align on long-term goals for the data platform. 9 Optimize and recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. 10 Conduct research to address complex industry and business problems using Azure-based solutions. 11 Provide strategic input on the overall data platform architecture using Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Blob Storage. Requirements : 1 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar role. 3 Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake. 4 Strong experience with big data tools and stream-processing systems within the Azure ecosystem. 5 Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or other scripting languages. 6 Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases in Azure, including Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB. 7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8 Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. 9 Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 10 Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices. Added Advantage : 1 Experience with machine learning on Azure. 2 Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization. 3 Certification in Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect.
