About the Position : - Energy Exemplar espouses 'Salesforce to become our single source of truth' and to that end wishes to fully leverage efficiencies and capabilities within Salesforce. - Therefore, Energy Exemplar requires a pro-active Salesforce Expert with superior certified Developer skills. - This role will be 'key' to determining our Salesforce architecture to meet our immediate and future needs. - The contributions made in this role will help to increase pipeline, customer experience, account management and ROI. To achieve these objectives Energy Exemplar is seeking candidates who will 'invest' in our Core Values, supported by : - Four plus years of experience as a Salesforce.com (SFDC) Developer with strong proficiency as a developer and administrator. - Comfortable in 'drilling-down' to fully determine real requirements. - Then filtering and prioritizing requirements accordingly. - Provide design and architectural insights that will deliver efficiencies to Energy Exemplar (EE) Salesforce architecture. - Code and Administer EE Salesforce platform as approved and deliver agreed objectives. - Accepting of change in a fast-moving environment. Key Stakeholder Relationships : This role works collaboratively with all Energy Exemplar staff and in particular : - Sales Managers. - Finance Team. - Service Team. - Operations Team. Key Accountabilities and Duties : Design : - Design, document, build, test and deploy new or updated functionality/fields etc from sandbox to Salesforce instance. - Design and deliver custom Lightning Web Components, Visual Force and Apex Classes as required. - Create and extend Salesforce Enterprise Architecture that seeks to increase ROI. - Serve as a Lead Developer (hands-on) in system design, development, documentation, and maintenance. Development : - Develop Custom Objects, Custom Reports for sales performance and Lead generation statistics. - Develop Apex classes, Controller classes, Apex triggers and Test classes for various functional needs in given application. - Create and deliver technical training to internal administrators, power users, executive teams, and others as needed. - Responsible for the design of the Salesforce.com object model, the configuration of standard & custom objects, security models, fields, page layouts, workflow rules, reports, and dashboards. - Develop and enhance our Salesforce environment to support business operations and processes, integrate with various business systems. - Participates in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, coding, code review, testing, bug tracking, change management, deployment, and support. - Participates in project planning, scoping, and estimating. - Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Administration : - Integrate third party applications with Salesforce (ex.Netsuite, Hubspot, Docusign, middleware, other Finance tools, etc. Candidate Requirements : Knowledge and Skills : - Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Support Cloud, Community Cloud, and Knowledge. - Apex Triggers, Classes, Test Classes, Visualforce. - Salesforce Developer and Administrator. - Report and Dashboard Building in Salesforce (Enterprise and Einstein). - SDLC Methodologies (Agile preferred). - Relational Database modeling. - Problem Solving Skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
