Business Analyst

Position Overview : HDFC Bank is seeking a Business Analyst (Techno-Functional) with 4-6 years of experience, particularly in API development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tech projects and will be responsible for driving projects from initiation to completion. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with technical, design, digital, business, and control functions, as well as third parties. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Production Requirement Documents (PRD). - Write and execute test cases to ensure project quality. - Drive projects end-to-end, highlighting potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution. - Coordinate and collaborate with tech, design, digital, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including technical teams and business units, to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements. - Act as the primary point of contact for the Digital Services Function (DSF) and Business Technology Group (BTG). - Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure signoff from relevant stakeholders prior to project launch. - Support the smooth transition to live operations and address any post-deployment issues. - Identify, assess, and manage project risks to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables. Qualifications : Experience : - 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in techno-functional roles, with specific experience in API development. - Experience working on technology projects is essential. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance domain is desirable but not mandatory. Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in writing BRD/PRD and test cases (ref:hirist.tech)
