Lead Node.js Developer - Express.js/Javascript

Skillset : Node.js, Express. js, MongoDB, TDD, AWS Nice to have skillset : React. js, Next.js, TypeScript, Role Expectations : - Responsible for maintaining and deploying our stack in AWS - Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions - Design client-side and server-side architecture - Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design - Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications - Write effective APIs - Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency - Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software - Create security and data protection settings - Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design - Write technical documentation - Audit and ensure best securities practices in our stack Qualifications : - Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role - Proficient with JavaScript, from Vanilla to Typescript - Proficient with ReactJs, NextJs, VueJs - Proficient with Node.js - Proficient with databases (SQL and NoSQL) - Proficient with AWS and familiar with IaC principles - Familiar with Firebase - Knowledge of Shopify - Understanding of Git and familiarity with continuous integration - Understanding of the importance of clean code Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Great attention to detail - Organizational skills - An analytical mind Important Stack : - React and NextJs - AWS Lambda with NodeJs (and Typescript) - MongoDB - Firebase - Shopify (ref:hirist.tech)
