Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong DevOps background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and a proven ability to architect, build, deploy, and manage complex infrastructure environments. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS and extensive experience with IBM Cloud, with a focus on automation and efficiency. Responsibilities : - Design, architect, and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS, leveraging a wide range of services and tools. - Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and translate them into robust infrastructure designs. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration. - Implement and manage configuration management solutions to ensure consistency and compliance across environments. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of applications. - Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements. - Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner. - Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry best practices. - Mentor and guide junior team members in infrastructure and DevOps best practices. Required Qualifications : - 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and DevOps. - Experience with IBM Cloud and its services is must-have requirement. - Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.) and a deep understanding of AWS architecture. - Hands-on experience with at least one IaC tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). - Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). - Solid understanding of networking concepts (routing, subnetting, firewalls). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Brownie Points : - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack). - Certifications in AWS (i.e., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). - Experience with infrastructure security best practices.
