Software Development Engineer II - Hadoop

Skills Required : - Java or Python Hadoop MapReduce Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) Job Description : - We are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer with 4-6 years of experience to join our client team. - The candidate will be responsible for building highly scalable and extensible applications. - The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Hadoop, MapReduce, and either Java or Python, along with Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and evolve highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed components using Hadoop technologies. - Hands-on coding and development of enterprise-level code. - Design and implement APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to solve distributed computing challenges. - Ensure robust data extraction, transformation, and job automation processes. - Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to understand strategic business requirements. - Stay updated with the latest technologies to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI). Qualifications : - Proficiency in either Java or Python, along with Hadoop, MapReduce, and DSA. - Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as PySpark, HBase, and ElasticSearch. - Strong understanding of database modeling, development, and data mining. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in diverse teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
