Lead Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days. Working Days : 5 Days a Week. Job Overview : GSPANN is looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer with strong technical expertise to lead and mentor a team of engineers. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise-level systems, strong leadership, and hands-on experience in complex software projects. Key Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design and development of enterprise-level software solutions. - Drive the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable software using Spring Boot, Microservices, and related technologies. - Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure code quality and scalability, adhering to Sonar coding standards and best practices. - Participate in design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews. - Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external use. - Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation and specifications. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop automated test suites and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Work closely with UI, DevOps, Sterling, DBA, and other teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless operation. - Stay updated on the latest technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the project. - Gain exposure to different brands within the organization and contribute to developing flexible and scalable solutions. - Optimize the end-to-end order lifecycle and contribute to enhancing the customer experience. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 years of hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, REST API Development, Kafka, and Microservices. - Strong experience with JUnit, Mockito, Databases (NoSQL, Cassandra), and Kafka. - Experience working in agile practices at scale and delivering high-quality software. - Technical expertise in enterprise-level Order Management and related Supply Chain Systems. - Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and building highly scalable customer-facing applications. - Knowledge of security lifecycle management and cybersecurity principles. - Experience with Maven, Gradle, Git, and GitHub Enterprise. - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on mentoring and inspiring team members. - Strong analytical skills for dissecting complex problems and providing effective solutions.
