Job Description : As Data Scientist, you will work on a broad range of cutting-edge data science and machine learning problems across a variety of industries. You will be engaging with clients to understand their business context and lead a team of data scientists and engineers to embed AI and machine learning into the business decision processes. Responsibilities : - Lead Data Science Initiatives : You will spearhead the data science aspects of client engagements from start to finish. This involves defining the project scope, designing analytical approaches, and managing the overall data science workflow. - Technical Expertise : As a technical subject matter expert (SME), you will develop and enhance algorithms and machine learning models to tackle complex business challenges. You will also be responsible for maintaining these models and ensuring proper documentation. - Client Collaboration : You will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and business units to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data science solutions. You will effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Agile Leadership : This role requires flexibility and adaptability. You will seamlessly transition between individual contributor, team member, and data science leader roles based on project demands. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and engineers. Technical Skills : - You possess strong analytical, quantitative, and programming skills with a solid foundation in Python, SQL - Data analysis, data mining - Data visualization - Segmentation, A/B testing - Statistics and databases. Desirable Skills : - Business intelligence - Machine learning algorithms and applications - Web server architectures - Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Experience building products, web applications, or microservices (ref:hirist.tech)
