SAP EWM Consultant - Support & Implementation

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP EWM solutions and a proven track record in configuring, implementing, and supporting warehouse management processes. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to optimize warehouse operations and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of SAP EWM solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions to meet business requirements and optimize warehouse processes. - Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and configure the SAP EWM system accordingly. - Coordinate and manage EWM implementation projects, including project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. - Configure SAP EWM modules, including warehouse structures, bin management, inventory management, and warehouse processes. - Customize EWM functionalities to meet specific business needs, including layout and process adjustments. - Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and process flows. - Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (e., SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP SD) and third-party systems (e. , WCS, TMS) to ensure seamless end-to-end processes. - Design and manage interfaces and data exchanges between SAP EWM and external systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and ensure data consistency across systems. - Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality and performance. - Identify and resolve defects, issues, and discrepancies discovered during testing phases. - Provide post-implementation support and address any issues reported by end-users. - Provide ongoing support to users, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and answering queries. - Act as a subject matter expert on SAP EWM and provide guidance to other team members and stakeholders. - Analyze current warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization using SAP EWM. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM features, trends, and best practices. - Propose and implement enhancements to the SAP EWM system and related processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Required Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Technical Skills : - Extensive knowledge of SAP EWM modules, including warehouse structure, inbound and outbound processes, inventory management, and wave management. - Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e., SAP MM, SAP SD). - Experience with SAP EWM advanced functions such as cross-docking, slotting, and labor management. - Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps and other user interface technologies related to SAP EWM. - Experience with ABAP for customizations and enhancements is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Experience with global SAP EWM implementations and multi-site warehouse environments. - Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse management best practices. - Experience with SAP EWM migration and upgrade projects. - Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
