SAP PP/QM Consultant

Job Title: SAP PP QM Consultant Experience : 7 Years Location : Remote Contract : 6 Months Client : SES Budget : 1.5 LPM Key Responsibilities : - Implementation & Support : Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules to optimize manufacturing and quality processes. - Business Process Analysi s: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, identify process gaps, and propose efficient solutions to meet production and quality needs. - Configuration & Customization : Configure SAP PP and QM modules, including master data management, material requirements planning (MRP), shop floor control, production orders, and quality inspection processes. - Integration : Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP and QM with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling). - Quality Management : Implement quality control processes within SAP QM, manage inspection plans, results recording, defect management, and corrective actions. - Testing & Validation : Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business requirements. - Documentation & Training : Create comprehensive documentation of system configurations, process flows, and user guides. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure efficient system utilization. - Issue Resolution : Act as a subject matter expert for SAP PP and QM, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution of system-related issues during both implementation and post-go-live support. - Continuous Improvement : Recommend system enhancements and process improvements to streamline production planning and quality control operations, increasing efficiency and minimizing downtime. Required Skills : - SAP PP Expertise : Extensive experience in SAP PP including MRP, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, Routings, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning. - SAP QM Expertise : Strong knowledge of SAP QM processes, including quality inspections, notifications, certificates, audit management, and calibration. - Integration Knowledge : Solid understanding of the integration points between PP, QM, and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO. - Configuration Skills : Proven ability to configure SAP PP and QM modules to meet complex production and quality requirements. - Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. - Communication & Collaboration : Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Documentation & Training : Experience in creating detailed documentation and delivering user training sessions. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Experience with SAP S/4HANA in PP and QM modules. - Knowledge of Shop Floor Automation and integration with SAP. - Experience in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or similar domains with high production and quality standards.
