Manager - UI Design

Role & Responsibilities : - Creating inspirational & kickass visual designs keeping our design language in mind as a base template with the help of any UI tools like Figma, Adobe XD etc. - Making sure your creations look good on all screen sizes with an understanding of responsive scaling and grid structures - To be able to make stunning designs, you need an awareness of Colors, Typography, Layout & composition, spacing, materials & textures and a great aesthetic sense - Adding micro interactions to your concepts can help launch them over the line - Knowing the limitations that our tech team works with, will help your designs go all the way much faster. - There's a lot of great stuff happening out there everyday Keeping up to date with it will help you stay on the top of your game. - To be a project / track owner, you need to be decisive and good at absorbing critical feedback. - You will need help to achieve your targets, and for that you need to be able to scout, rear, manage and guide vendor teams. - You will help your team meet their potential by planning their Goals and KRAs to keep everyone on their sharp and ever ready. - Evolving, upgrading and maintaining a design system is a very important part of both a Design ecosystem with sketch etc. - Understanding the business landscape, goals and the design requirements associated with it - Understanding the customer behavior, needs and challenges faced by them - Benchmarking online journeys with competitors and define best user experience for our product - Mapping business requirements to design solutions - Documenting requirements received via user stories or stakeholder meetings - Planning and prioritizing for multiple ongoing requirements - Managing stakeholders and their expectations from time to time Ideal Candidate : Qualifications : - B.Des / M.des / B.FA/ M.FA from a recognized design school or equivalent - 6-7 years of experience working as a Visual / Interaction Designer. Work Experience : - 4-5 years of experience working as a Visual/Interaction Designer. The main focus of the experience should have been on Visuals, Interactions, Aesthetics & Usability with any Ui Design tools. - Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX/Product teams (motion, interaction, UX research, etc.) on technical implementation - Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in a software development environment - Preference given to candidates who have worked at tech firms and in large corporate format environments (ref:hirist.tech)
