Job Description
We have a great opportunity in Newport for a Civil Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer in working for a well-established construction and civil company. This role is for an immediate start ASAP with the work likely to run up until Christmas.
The clients will require you on site 5 days per week and you MUST have your own equipment !!!
As an experienced civil /groundworks engineer you will need to hit the ground running supporting the groundworks package on an industrial estate including deep drainage therefore previous setting out experience of roads, street-works and drainage for infrastructures is essential !!
Key roles & responsibilities:
* Able to carry out all necessary setting out correctly and accurately
* Must be able to use a robotic instrument.
* Strong communication skills
* Experience of working on busy and live infrastructure schemes.
* Ensure all work progresses in compliance with H & S procedures
* 3 years plus experience of busy construction sites.
* CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS
* Recognised, relevant qualification
* Within commutable distance of Cirencester
Benefits:
* Competitive day rate - £380 to £400 per day - depending on experience.
* Immediate Start !!
* Up to 12 weeks work
