About the role of Senior Estimator
Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are actively looking for a Senior Estimator. They are currently working on projects that are worth around £100M plus. They are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their busy pre-construction team that would work on Major Projects in the London area.
Responsibilities for Senior Estimator
The role is suitable for an Estimator looking for the opportunity to step into a senior role or an established Senior Estimator. You will report directly to the Estimating Director and your duties will include.
Assessments of potential projects all prior to tender reviews and submission of quotations.
Preparing tender documents.
Dealing with subcontract quotations.
Managing the production of the tender costs in consultation with the project planner, design manager and bid manager allocated to the project.
Handover of successful tender information that the site teams are suitably briefed.
Requirements for Senior Estimator
Good understanding of first principles.
Experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
Experience working in several different sectors.
Experience tendering on 100m plus projects.
Previous experience having worked as an Estimator.
