Job Description
Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next role? Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading company who specialise in providing solutions across the water, and wastewater industry.
Our client is looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in the Maple Lodge area with hybrid working available. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key responsibilities as a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages
* Liaising with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost
* Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met
* Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary
* Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation
* Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors
* Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
* The preparation of project cost & value reports, budgets and forecasts
* Assist in the management and development of training commercial staff
* Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
* Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality
Essential skills:
* Experience on infrastructure projects
* Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution
* Degree or equivalent
* NEC3 or ICheme Contract Experience
Desirable skills:
* Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team
