This is a varied and exciting role for an experienced and enthusiastic individual looking to drive forward the design and delivery of secure capabilities that will transform the Government Service.

You will develop, implement, and monitor the delivery of the Workforce Planning strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the delivery of the Workforce Planning strategy.
• Conduct analysis on current workforce capability and develop required plan to meet policy and financial requirements.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience of developing and implementing workforce planning strategies.
• In-depth knowledge, skills and experience in successfully leading and delivering a range of people related initiatives.
• HR experience in building and developing organisational growth, capability, and culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences.
• A key influencer and contributor, you will be insightful, with a passion for delivery of a professional service that meets and contributes to the strategy of the organisation.
• As a senior manager you will be highly visible, quickly building trust and maintaining collaborative relationships with colleagues across RSO, FCDO and Cabinet Office.
• Experience of leading operational teams to deliver at pace whilst maintaining a focus on development of a quality service.

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of business planning processes and alignment with strategic objectives
• Experience of working in an IT Service Environment
• Understanding of working across Government and public service
• Strong track record in coaching and people development

Professional Qualifications:

• CIPD qualification in related discipline
