Job Description

Salt is working with a leading retailer dedicated to providing the best products and services for pet owners, who are seeking an experienced eCommerce Manager to join on a fixed term contract, with a focus on their subscription model.


This role is pivotal in managing and growing the eCommerce subscription service, taking ownership of driving subscriber growth, increasing customer engagement, and optimising the subscription journey through collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.


  • Hybrid working in Manchester (2 days onsite per week)
  • Immediate start, 3-6 month contract
  • £55,000 salary


You will:

  • Coordinate key operational activities, and mange the day-to-day operational tasks ensuring seamless execution of the subscription program
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive subscription sign-up and retention, and integrate subscription campaigns and initiatives into the overall GTM strategy
  • Work closely with marketing teams to optimise promotion and acquisition efforts
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, and identify actionable insights to improve metrics
  • Work closely with the product team to optimise the program on features and fixes


You will need:

  • Proven experience in an eCommerce role with elements of subscriptions, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and subscription business models, with excellent project management skills
  • Ability to analyse data, create reports, and derive actionable insights to inform business decisions
  • Commercial astuteness, with a track record of driving growth and profitability
