About the Role:

As Bid Manager, you will collaborate across departments, particularly with pre-construction and construction teams, to ensure the delivery of meticulously crafted, visually engaging, and persuasive bids. Your precision, strategic thinking, and ability to communicate complex ideas will be crucial in maintaining the company’s competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

Bid Production: Lead the development of high-quality bid documents, combining written content with bespoke design to deliver proposals that stand out.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the marketing, pre-construction, and construction teams, ensuring seamless integration of ideas and strategies.

Strategic Input: Work closely with Contracts Managers to craft winning strategies and compelling themes that differentiate each bid in a competitive market.

Client Research: Conduct thorough research into client values and brand identity, incorporating these insights into tailored, client-centric submissions.

Information Collation: Gather, refine, and structure critical input from various stakeholders, ensuring each document is polished and cohesive.

Bespoke Tender Creation: Design innovative, high-impact tender submissions and interview documents that align with client expectations and project vision.

Bid Management: Set clear deliverables, lead bid review sessions, and facilitate strategic mid-tender meetings to drive continuous improvement in bid quality.

Qualifications:

Degree Qualification

Required Skills:

Proven Expertise: Demonstrable experience as a Bid Manager with a track record of delivering successful bids under pressure and tight deadlines.

Technical Proficiency: Fluent in bid management and design software, with a keen understanding of how to integrate compelling content with engaging design.

Exceptional Communication Skills: Impeccable written and verbal English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Creative Innovation: Mastery of Adobe InDesign, with the creativity and confidence to present transformative ideas that elevate bid presentations.

Pay range and compensation package:

Up to £65,000 per annum plus package (negotiable)
